• RISING (June)

  A festival of new art, music and performance, RISING takes over Melbourne in the heart of winter. It's known for its stunning, large-scale public art installations, unique performances in unexpected places, and a program that's always surprising and thought-provoking.

• Melbourne Fringe Festival (October)

  This is where art gets wild. The Melbourne Fringe is an open-access festival, meaning anyone can register an event. The result is a vibrant, eclectic, and often experimental program of art from emerging and established artists. It's a fantastic platform for discovery.

• Melbourne Food & Wine Festival (March)

• The Good Food & Wine Show (May/June)

  A huge indoor showcase of the best in local produce, artisan goods, and wineries. It's a place to wander, sample, and shop for delicious treats, and maybe even see your favourite celebrity chef in action.

• Moomba Festival (March)

  Held over the Labour Day long weekend, Moomba is Australia's largest free community festival.
