With its outstanding height, this place is known as the "roof of the South", attracting not only trekking enthusiasts but also tourists looking for serenity and peace.

Are you ready to come to Tay Ninh, to join the journey to explore Ba Den Mountain with MLifeOn?

Legend of Ba Den Mountain

Located about 11km from the center of Tay Ninh, Ba Den Mountain has long been a symbol of this land. The mountain is associated with the legend of Ly Thi Thien Huong, a talented and faithful girl, but suffered a tragic fate.

According to legend, Ly Thi Thien Huong was a young woman with a dignified appearance, gentle, both literary and martial, born into a well-educated family, so she was admired by many people. In the village, there was a young man named Le Si Triet, although he lost his parents at a young age, but was taken in, raised and trained by monk Tri Tan, so he became a talented and virtuous person, and fell in love with her. Once she was in danger, the two had the opportunity to meet. Moved by the young man's heart and chivalrous actions, her parents promised to marry her to him. But when chaos broke out, Le Si Triet had to go to the army, Thien Huong stayed behind, wholeheartedly waiting for the day he returned. However, while going up the mountain to visit the temple and visit monk Tri Tan, she was blocked by bad guys who plotted to humiliate her. Faced with the dangerous situation, she chose to maintain her integrity and reputation by throwing herself off the mountain.

After her death, she appeared many times in dreams, guiding people in distress. From then on, the name Ly Thi Thien Huong spread widely, becoming a sacred symbol in the hearts of the people. Many people from all over came to Tay Ninh to visit the scenery, burn incense, pray for peace and show their respect to the woman revered as the Holy Lady - who lived and died with dignity and virtue.

Ba Den Mountain is an attractive spiritual tourist destination

Sacred space on Ba Den Mountain

From the foot of the mountain, visitors can choose to walk along the trekking routes or use the cable car to reach the top. If you choose to trek, you will experience beautiful forest paths, cross ancient stone steps, listen to the sound of babbling streams and birds chirping in the majestic natural space.

This experience brings the feeling of being immersed in nature, challenging yourself on a journey full of vitality.

With the cable car system, in just a few minutes, visitors will enjoy the panoramic view of Ba Den Mountain from above, admire the vast Tay Ninh, the vast fields and endless green space. Taking the cable car is not only convenient but also a great opportunity for you to admire the beauty of this sacred mountain.

During the festival season, especially the Ba Festival (the 4th - 6th of the first lunar month), tens of thousands of visitors from all over flock to Ba Den Mountain to offer incense and pray for peace, creating an extremely vibrant atmosphere.

Along the way to the pagoda, long lines of people, incense smoke billowing, the sound of chanting echoing in the ears, make everyone feel the sacredness that pervades this place.

Ba Den Mountain is extremely crowded during festivals

Not only is it a pilgrimage, the festival at Ba Den Mountain also has other folk cultural activities, as well as religious cultural performances, helping visitors better understand the history and traditions of Tay Ninh.

During my trip, I decided to climb the mountain instead of taking the cable car. This journey lasted several hours, through the lush green forest canopy, each step I took was filled with excitement and discovery.

After many hours of traveling, I set foot on the top of the mountain, where there is a large space with strong winds blowing. Standing here, looking down at the whole view of Tay Ninh, I felt an indescribable peace, as if all fatigue had disappeared.

Conclusion

It can be said that Ba Den Mountain is not only a beautiful natural destination, but also a place where Tay Ninh's spiritual culture converges. Whether you are a passionate explorer or a person looking for peace of mind, there is always something special waiting for you here.

If you have the opportunity, visit Ba Den Mountain once to feel the beauty of the harmony between nature and religion, as well as challenge yourself on an emotional mountain climbing journey.
